“Since the photoshoot, I have gained a more profound love for myself. For some years, I felt I needed to hide from the world because I was overweight. I did not think that I fit the standard of what beauty was to society. It made it hard to look in the mirror or photos of myself. My confidence hit an all-time low and I was questioning whether I was good enough to do it. Before the shoot, I bought a waist trimmer and boob tape to hold everything in and hide my imperfection. However, I felt comfortable enough to be vulnerable and show the real me. I sincerely appreciate Liz's words of encouragement because I would not have been able to make it through it without them.
Leaving the shoot, I felt so proud of myself and could not believe I had done it. This day was one of the best days I have had in a very long time.
The photoshoot went better than I expected. I was blown away by how the room was set up. I loved the welcome sign with my name on it. I felt that we were celebrating me. I loved the decor in the room. The colors were warm and inviting. My makeup experience was wonderful. The artist understood my vision and executed it perfectly. This was my first photoshoot with just me, so I needed a lot of coaching. I truly appreciated Liz's patience to get the best shots possible. I appreciated all the emails sent out before the day of the shoot. The emails were full of information that helped give me an idea of how the day would go. From start to finish, I felt nothing but joy and excitement.
The entire process was perfect. The questionnaires helped me to prepare for the big day and have a vision of what I wanted. I appreciated how well Liz communicated with me. She is so professional and could sense the love she has for her company.

“I've been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for quite some time now... but I was letting the unknown of it all keep me from actually stepping out and doing it. Well, I finally decided to put all those reservations aside and have a boudoir shoot with Liz at Luxe Imagery. Leading up to the shoot, Liz was more than supportive, and helped to calm my nerves. She truly cared about what was important to me and I how I felt about myself and recognized my reservations but offered ongoing, continued support. When the day of the shoot arrived, makeup and hair was first. Liz had an amazing makeup and hair artist, she listened to what I wanted and made me look absolutely stunning, she really brought out my best features. And while I was relaxing during this little hair and makeup pamper session, a glass of champagne was on hand to help ease those a little more .
Next was time for the boudoir shoot, I went over the outfit options I brought with Liz and we started off nice and easy with a piece I felt most comfortable in, slowly transitioning through the shoot to the other pieces. Throughout the shoot, Liz offered continued guidance and support and had awesome tips on how to relax and just enjoy the moment (hint, it has a lot to do with breathing) . She knew just what poses to do to really enhance my natural beauty.
When it came time to see the pictures, I was in awe at what I saw on the screen!
Liz really captured me in a way I had never seen myself, that beautiful woman on the screen was me!
All in all I had an amazing experience at Luxe and would 100% do it again. There isn't one piece of it I regret. I can't thank Liz enough for helping me come out of my shell and to put myself out there. The results and how I felt during the shoot were well worth it. If you're on the fence about doing a boudoir shoot, get off the fence and just do it!! “I chose a boudoir shoot because I wanted to celebrate my 30th year of life. As I come up on my 31st I wanted to have some photos of myself and celebrate who I am and how hard I’ve worked for this body in so many ways more than just physically. I did this for me. During the photoshoot I felt supported. Liz gave amazing guidance and made me feel really confident, but of course, I was still a little nervous.
When I finally saw my photos, I was a little speechless. It’s such a gift to be able to see yourself in that form. There is so much strength and self love involved in the viewing process. It was very freeing and a very touching experience for me. Even now, after the shoot, I honestly feel sexier. I feel a little more empowered about my body and myself. “Feeling... 32... Today is my birthday.
While these photos were taken about 2 months ago (and 9 weeks pregnant), I am posting them because I felt beautiful. I’ve been struggling lately with my body image... badly. I realize I’m pregnant & my body is changing. However, I continue to fight the anxiety & depression from my last miscarriage that tend to come through as my ED. In these photos, I laughed a lot with an old friend. I enjoyed myself. I felt good. As I age and become a mom again, I am trying to remind myself that those feelings are what matter. Not the number on the scale or calories in a day. I want to embody positivity one day... and ideally, pass it along to my children. So happy 32nd birthday to me- here’s to many more happy, healthy years.”

“I wanted to show that I still “have it”.
It’s easy to lose yourself in your family, in your career, and in everyday life. I wanted my husband and myself to see me in a completely different element...which by the way, was completely captured!! After having kids, it’s easy to be hard on your physical self and I am always seeking out my imperfections.
After doing this boudoir shoot with Liz, I feel empowered and so proud that even after 2 kids, I still can muster up that sexiness! I’ve still got it :)
If I could give ten stars I would! Liz is an incredible photographer who’s talent isn’t just in her photos, but in how she makes you feel.
Boudoir photos can feel uncomfortable at first and aren’t natural for most but Liz is excellent at making you feel comfortable and beautiful which in turns makes you feel empowered.
I never thought I would be proud of how I looked without clothes on but after my shoot with Liz, I found confidence that I didn’t realize I had! She’s the best and it’s worth every penny! And although I did these for me, my husband would also 100 percent agree that they are worth it ;)”
